Secrets and Lies.

I decided to wait a bit before questioning him some more. I wanted him to cool off a little. I went back to the tree, got the book and skipped a few pages. I came upon a page that said, The Ninth Element. "Ninth Element! the heck..". Most of the pages had been torn out but the one page that wasn't was the title page. There were words written on it but it was in a special code, something i couldn't understand. I wanted to ask Ethan about it but he was already asleep, it was 1am in the morning after-all. Curiosity took over me and i woke Ethan up. "What is it Emma?." He asked sleepily. Before responding i stared deep into his eyes, i wasn't sure if it would work, BUT it did!. His pupil turned fully black, but it was flickering, like he was fighting it. I asked him one question." Do you know anything about The Ninth Element?". He responded," Yes, i do.". Before i could ask anything else, his turned turned back to the slightly blue, but hazel eyes. He looked at me in disappointment, he obviously knew i used my powers on him. I went back to the tree, just to catch a breath. If he knew something i didn't, to make him wanna fight my powers, it obvious he's hiding something. I stayed awake until about 3am. I got up, just about to head to bed when i saw a figure in the far distance of the Winter Cottage. I went over there, through curiously i asked, " Who are you?.." The figure replied, in a familiar female voice, " Curiosity Killed the Cat,That's the first ;lesson you were taught Emma." The voice sounded so familiar but i just couldn't make out who the person was. The voice said some scared  words that i manged to translate. " I see you've met Ethan...He's dangerous Emma, that's the reason he was also hid away from the world..There's so much to him that you don't know about. ". " I will tell you on thing Emma, this family holds a lot of Secrets and to cover them up we need to use Lies." Before i could say anything the figure faded away into the distance. I checked the time and it was 4:02 am. " Secrets and Lies huh?" I thought to myself. I paused on any thought and stared to think about who was the person. The voice was familiar and she seemed to know a lot about my family. Maybe she was a distance relative i never met before..but if she was the voice would't seemed familiar. So much was going through my head at the time. i just couldn't put my finger on it. But i decided to listen to the unknown entity. Later on in the day at about 10:00, i saw Ethan talking to someone on the phone. I wanted to find out a few things and it seemed liked an important call. " Ha! She doesn't suspect a thing! She really thinks i was kidnapped and experimented on, she's so stupid!. But don't worry, I've got her right underneath my nose, not literally. Soon all her power will be all yours, the best part about it is that she doesn't even know she is the most powerful being, umm....that's gonna be you of course, Ha! Ha!. All i need is a little more time...a month to be exact. I need to feed her more tragic stories about me to soften her up. Oh! her power..uhh.. all i know is that She has Mind Control and speed, she holds more than that but she uses those two because she believes that's her power. Well.. i gotta go, oh the code for Sunset Bay? *****. Okay bye!" I din't want to seem suspicious so i pretended that  i was looking for him. " Oh there you are Ethan! i was looking for you everywhere! I just wanted to tell you i made some Chicken Broccoli Zidi if you want some.". He was surprised to see me there, he whispered some word, it sounded like a lie detector spell, i was a great lair so it wasn't new. Did you hear any of my conversation?" I said One word  and one word only. " No." He responded, " oh, okay sorry for asking, well lets's go eat shall we". Based on his reaction i was telling the truth, but really i was lying. I still couldn't believe he'd do all that to me. I guess the Entity was right..this is nothing but a bunch of secrets and  
lies.The question was though..What am i going to do about it?
