We rode for a good

long while until the man behind me decided that this clearing was good. He barked off orders toward his men and dismounted turning his gaze toward me.
"Milady may I help you down," he said with a little bow I ignored him and dismounted with ease. I wandered toward one of the tents and a guard opened the flap. I disappeared inside and drew in a deep breath between my teeth. The trunk were open to reveal dresses, jewelry, and hair pieces that Iris always marvels at. When I though of her I started to cry again a little so instead of diving in I sank down onto the cot and cried myself to sleep. When I awoke the sun had sunk low in the sky and I went in search for something to wear. After searching for a good long while I found a simple green dress with gold trim after failing to find a shirt and pants. I brushed out my hair with a fancy hair brush and put it in a braid down my back. I checked myself in the mirror and added a medallion for good measure before exiting the tent. All eyes turned toward me when I came outside and a few reached out but soon were on there backs in pain. The masks were off and most were around a fire talking or drinking. A dreadful  smelling stew was coming from the fire and with a tssk I approached the stew.
"This looks disgusting," I said and motioned for a spoon. A young boy with callused fingers handed one to me as well as some spices. I tasted it and cringed before adding practically all the spices. A man came over with some sliced up rabbit and I added it stirring before handing the spoon off.
"This is amazing Milady," one said but I shot him a look and stormed away to my tent. After about fifteen minutes the leader came in with a bowl and handed it to me.
"I am sorry this happened to you but we have orders," he tried to explain or apologize I really couldn't tell.
"Just because you had orders doesn't mean you should follow them," I snapped at him refusing to take the stew. He motioned with his hand to a guard standing at the back of the tent. The guard opened the flap to reveal three servant girls dressed in drab colors and they appeared to be many different ages. The man nodded and exited while the girls stayed there next to exit. They curtsied but the youngest eyed the fabrics spilling out of the trunks hungrily.
"I am Nina, this is my sister Isabella, and my youngest sister Anna." she said motioning to each of the sisters.
"Pleasure. I would like to be left alone though," I explained and with a nod two of the sisters left.
"I was told to give this to you Milady," Nina said handing me an old leather bound book before fleeing my sight. I cracked oped to a book about etiquette with a sarcastic grin I read it well until sunrise.
