chapter 1

~le time skip brought to you by le taco (a few days later)~

Y/n POV
“Hahahaha! THE Slenderman! What happened? Did someone squish you or something? I   thought you would be way scarier! Hahahaha!” I heard as I walked home from work.
I’m y/a years old and work at j/l, my dad left us when I was 5 and my mum is the only one who supports us. So I thought I’d get a job too.
The laughing got louder and louder as I walked in the direction of my home. ‘Til I heard one of the kids say “h-hey! What are you d-doing! S-stop PLEASE! I-“ he cut himself off with an agonizing scream. Just then I heard loud static. my head hurt a bit then I passed out.

~el time skip brought to you by el crepe (a few minutes later)

I woke up in the same place I was before. “W-what happened?” I muttered groggily to no one in particular. All I remember is I heard static, then I must have passed out.
“Hello, child” at this point I was sitting straight up. “Down here,” a voice said. I looked down at my feet and saw a creature. Wearing a black suit? And had no face?
Then it clicked. That kid said ‘slenderman’ right?” oh. Your slenderman right? That's what that kid said. Right?” it nodded “soo….why are you so small?” I said trying not to laugh. he clearly noticed. He gave me the ‘look’ or what I think is the ‘look’. I couldn’t help it. I bursted into laughter and doubled over. A small blush crept across his ‘cheeks’ signifying he was embarrassed. “S-sorry, I just expected something...different…” I started laughing again and his ‘face’ turned a brighter pink. After a while, I stopped. “You done?” he said ‘face’ still red. “Y-yeah. Sorry again. I just couldn’t help it!” I said rubbing the back of my neck. At that moment if he had eyes he probably would have rolled them.
I checked my watch then said “it’s getting late I should go” I then stood up and stretched. “Bye then!” I said waving and walking away to go home to make dinner. I looked back over my should and saw he was waving. I smiled and continued on my way.
For the next few days, I didn’t see him anywhere and I was starting to get worried. I don’t know why. It’s not like I really knew him!
I was walking home from work when I turned my head to look at the buildings on my right like I always do. Though I've seen them a million times, it’s become a habit now.
As I was walking down the familiar streets. I saw a small figure sitting in an alleyway. The figure was small, it had its Knees pull up to its chest with its head buried in its knees so I couldn’t see its face. It was wearing what looked like a black suit?...of some sort? I don’t know. I was about to continue walking but something stopped me. My gut? No..it was a mote of a pull. I was drawn to it why I do not know. Static in my head followed by small whimpers brought back a memory I had forgotten in the short time I was walking. Now I know why that ‘thing’ seemed so familiar! It was slenderman!
