You laughed as you raced him down the vacant beach, your hair flying in the wind. It was only a matter of seconds before he reached you, tossing you over his shoulder as you laughed even harder. "I don't even know why you try to out run me." Your track star boyfriend teased. "I like to keep you on your toes." you smiled as he set you down. You turned to face the ocean, your ears filled with the soft hum of the waves as you notice the sun beginning to set. Dan sat down in the sand, taking in the beautiful sight. You joined him as you rested your head on his shoulder. "You certainly keep me on my toes." he mumbled. "I don't like the idea of you running away." Your fingers found his larger ones as he glanced down at you. "Never." you promised. He kissed your head before returning his gaze to the water. After the sun has set, you aren't ready to go home so he takes you to a small forest. You walk around aimlessly until you stumble upon a clearing. There is camping gear here.
You look at Dan. He just smiles and starts setting it up. You ask questions like when did it get here? How? Is it for them? He doesn't answer anything and has to bit his lip to keep from saying anything. He first builds a bon fire. You sit down and let him do all the work. He eventually joins you with a blanket for two, marshmallows, gram crackers and Reece's peanut butter cups for smores.
Later that night, when you are stuffed with sweets, he takes you to a tent. You think that he is going to do the unthinkable to you but instead he just pulls you close. He tells you about his feelings for you. You then tell him how much you love him. Eventually you both fall asleep, you entwined in his arms around you protectively. Its perfect
