The Silent Children

What happened after Mika went inside

When Mika got inside her father yelled at her saying “I told you not to talk to other kids!”
Mika said to her father “Yes father I understand…”
And then Mika’s father said, “Stay in your room until dinner, you got it.”
“Yes father” Mika said.
Mika then went to her room and her father locked her door.
Mika opened her blinds to see Hoku doing the looking out the window waiting for her.
Hoku then said in sign language “Hi Mika”
Mika then said in sign language “Hi Hoku”
Then for the next 2 hours, Mika and Hoku were talking, and everything was great.
Then she heard her dad say “BRAT GET OUT HERE NOW FOR YOUR FOOD!”
Mika then heard the door unlock and then she walked out and ate her food.
She was then locked in her room again, and looked through the window, and said to Hoku in sign language “I have to go to bed if I don’t I’ll get in trouble so goodnight see you tomorrow.”
Hoku then said, “It’s okay bye see you tomorrow.”
