back alive
i lay there in the darkness. suddenly my eyes popped open. i was in a wooden box, a coffin. what was i doing there? i immediately felt a wave of panic wash over me. where was i, where was my family? WHAT was i ? with all of my strength i pushed the coffin door open and felt the cool brown dirt under dig my nails.i looked around the unfamiliar place. but then there it was all the memories flooded in my mind. i died 20 years ago, and i was meant to be dead.
i remember lying on the hospital bed, just like it was yesterday. my mum was telling me to calm down and that i would be alright. well she was wrong. i had died.
just as i was thinking about my mysterious death, when i had just turned 19 i felt something sharp against my tongue. i had fangs, i was a vampire.
