The Babysitter

The Babysitter

It was a normal Satarday afternoon when Shara got the phonecall. She picked it up, her feet up on the couch. She held a packet of corn chips in her hand. Her parents where out for a couple of weeks, which meant that she could have all the food she wants. She picked up her phone. A fimiliar voice talked, "Hello, Shara. It's Miss Johnson. I wondered if you'll be able to babysit this weekend. Me and Jake has a party to attend." Shara walked over to the kitchen, holding her phone to her ear. "Yeah, no problem," Shara answered, getting a piece of leftover chicken from the fridge.

Shara was a babysitter for four years and has lots of experiences with little kids. She started babysitting because she feels more comfortable with younger children than with kids from her own age. But all of that soon  hanged. Shara was walking in the mall one day when a girl started talking to her. This was all new for Shara, but she soon calmed down and got the courage to make more and more frineds. She is now one of the most popular people in her school, next to the badboy gang, ofcourse.

Shara climbed out of the shower, tying a towel around her hair. She stared at her reflection in the mirror as the wayer dripped down her body. "You are perfect," She repetedly said to herself. She turned around and started getting dressed. As soon as she entered her bedroom, she flopped down on the bed, grabbing her phone. She immidiatly went into Youtube and watched a few channels, before falling asleep.

The next morning Shara woke up to the sounf of a dog barking. She went outside the house and looked over her fence. Rubert, her neighbour's dog, was barking crazily at the mailman in the street. "SHUT IT YOU STUPID MUTT," Shara yelled, throwing him with a piece of paper. The dog let out a small whine and stopped barking, returning to his owner's house. Shara went back inside, looking at her phone on the way. She smilled as a text from her BFF, Riley, appeared. "Hey, you free toninght? I wanna have a party," The text read. Shara sighed and layed down on the couch.
