Chapter 3 - Jackie's POV
Jackie's P. O. V."Nggg... Sonic..."
My eyes open. The ground is rough and scratchy. I look down and see that I am laying on the sand. I gasp and sit up.
"No... No no no... This can't be real... SONIC!!"
I yell as loud as I can and I scramble to my feet. I look around and I am on the beach. An island, it seems. My mind goes to Sonic. The way he tried to get to me. He can't swim... HE CAN'T SWIM!! Sonic is out there and I'm not there. I drop to my knees, thinking about the horror in his face.
"Please be alive Sonic... Please..."
I bury my face into my hands and cry. I can't imagine not being with Sonic and now... We are so far apart. I have to find him. But how? I'm stuck on this island with nothing.
'Yeah, nothing.' I think to myself.
I lift my head. In battle, when you have nothing but your bare hands and your surroundings, we always manage to survive. That's how I'll do it. I'm going to fight for survival and I'll find Sonic. I know he'll be looking for me too. We'll find each other no matter the cost.
"I'm coming, Sonic. I'll be with you soon."
