Lost At Sea

Chapter 1 - Jackie's POV

I remember that night... A little bit foggy, but still pretty clear to me.
I stood out on the deck, moonlight shining on my long brown hair, which had been done up into a bun for the special occasion.
The short silver dress I was wearing shimmered and gleamed. I fixed my leggings.
The bright disco lights on the deck reflected off my shiny red heels, as I walked over to Sonic, who was wearing a fancy tuxedo, and holding a rose in his hand.
"Hi, Sonic."
Sonic blushed. "Hi, Jackie. You look... Stunning."
I giggled. "Thanks, Sonic, you look handsome. Who's the rose for?" I smirked.
He blushed even harder and gave it to me. "For you."
I laughed. "You're so sweet, Sonic."
Sonic rubbed his head. "Why don't we go inside?"
I smiled. "Sure."
He grabbed me by the hand and pulled me inside onto the dance floor.
The DJ, who happened to be my friend, Eternal, waved. "Heya!"
She then shone the spotlight on us. "Let this couple show you how to dance!"
We both blushed.
We then decided to do the twist.
The crowd cheered and danced along.
The music changed from dubstep to 90s rock music.
We were having a great time...
Until the bad news came.
"Queen?"
I turned to see the captain, who was running up to me.
"What is it?"
"There's a storm coming."
I froze. A storm?
"Nah, just ignore it." Sonic said.
Suddenly, lightning struck our boat.
The boat broke in half and started sinking.
"SONIC!" I yelled.
Sonic reached out his hand. "GRAB MY HAND!"
I tried grabbing it, but it was too far.
The boat then collapsed.
Screaming, I crashed into the water.
I swam up to the surface, and coughed. "S-Sonic?"
Sonic swam up. "I'M OVER HERE!"
I tried swimming over.
The waves crashed over us. "JACKIE!" I heard him yell.
We were seperated.
"SONIC!!!"
The waves then pulled us away.
My eyelids felt heavy. They then closed.
Then everything went black.
