The life of a anthro Fox

Chapter 2 - Origins

        *22 years earlier*

               I lay in my mother's den, curled up next to my mother, whom is a wolf and I hear her Talking to a beta of the pack. "He's a six month old fox, he probably remembers his true mother." says the beta. "I've been watching his mother for some time now and she clearly wasn't around him long enough for him to recognize her as his mother so now he's my son and there's nothing you can do about it now leave me to tend to my son." my mother said with a growl. The beta leaves and my mother nuzzles me and curls around me to keep me warm on that cold, winter, night.

                I awoke the next morning and I look out the den and see a wolf pup with wings and I walk out the den and go to try and meet the pup but I get tackled and pinned down by a larger wolf pup that growls and yell "Luna run I'll take care of this rodent.". At that moment I start to fear for my life so I whine and squirm and the pup with wings takes off running and I hear a growl from my den and I look over and see my mother growling at the pup that's on me and the pup says "Alpha I have caught an intruder he was about to attack and kill my sister.". My mother growls and says "Get off my son, NOW!.". The pup gets confused and gets off me and I rush over to my mother and hide behind her.

                My mother growls at the pup and says "go back to your mother and tell her why you decided to tackle my son and then tell her to come to me for a talk.". the pup whimpers and says "Yes alpha.". the pup runs off with his tail in between his legs and my mother looks at me and licks me to make sure I'm alright then she picks me up and brings me into the den and tells me to feed and I tilt my head. my mother rolls her eyes and lays on her side exposing her belly and go to her and feed. After I finish I lay beside her and fall asleep.
