Girlfriend?

I decided that I would invite Kat to my house for a movie and then ask her how she felt about me. She came over at about 7 o clock. She smiled at me and we put on some random movie. I don't remember what it was about. We talked over it the whole time. Finally I got up the nerve to bring up what I really wanted to talk about.
" Kat?" I took a deep breath. " I think I love you." She smiled at me.
" I love you too Rosie!"
" No!" I exclaimed. " I mean romantically."
" Really?" She asked. Then she smiled again. " I'm not sure which way I lean Rose, but I think I like you too."
" That way?"
" God Rose! Obviously!"
" So...uhh..." I muttered awkwardly. " Would you want to you know...date?
" Sure!" She said cheerily. That had gone easier than I had thought.
" One more thing." I said quickly.
" What?"
" Can we keep this between us?"
" What? Are you ashamed to date me?"
" No! You know why! I..."
" I understand" she said in a resigned tone. " Love you."
" Love you too." Then we kissed, really kissed. It was perfect. And somehow I knew that everything was going to be okay. If I could just keep it a secret...
