The figure

I was driving home from work and I was very tired so I opened the door and I put my bag down and turned the lights on and quickly took a shower then I got out of the shower and putted my pajamas on and got in bed and turned my lamp off (a few hours later) l was sleeping peacefully until I heard foot-steps coming closer to my bedroom window so I slowly opened my eyes carefully and then looked at the window so I had to stare at the window until my eyes adjusted to the darkness but then a few seconds later I was able to see a figure of a person but then I thought it was just my imagination because it was in the middle of the night and I was still very sleepy so then(In the morning) I woke up and looked at the time and almost jumped I’m a few minutes late for my meeting! I shouted. then I rushed out the door but in the corner of my eyes I saw that figure again by the window but waving at me!?! but this time I come see the figure more clearly and it looked like a little girl. And I was freaking out but I also wanted to know where we’re her parents and ask if she was ok but I was too scared because that little girl could be the figure I saw in the woods! But I thought to myself it could just be a kid trying to scare me so I when back in the house and when to the window but the little girl was gone so I opened the window and looked but no one was there so I got in the car and started the car.
