The Idol Hate Rant@Number1Arianator gave me the idea for this rant. :)
Okay! So, what I find really annoying is when people on Qfeast hate on other people's idols. Some people, like myself, love their idols. And people sometimes think it's okay when they hate on others' idols because they're not hating on the person themselves. But insulting people's idols and obsessions can hurt just as much as insulting the person themselves, because it's as if the person's idol is a part of them. That's how much they love them. And a lot of people these days think it's stupid to have idols and obsessions, so because the hater has never experienced it themselves, they don't know what it feels like. People sometimes need to be more considerate.
It also really annoys me when people compare idols. Like, when someone says, "Oh, (insert their idol here) is way better than (insert the other person's idol here)." This is just horrible, because you can't judge idols like that. Chances are that the people only know stuff about their OWN idol, and they probably haven't looked into stuff or done any research about the other person's idol, so they can't judge from their appearance or one song that they might have briefly heard. If they're going to judge, they need to look into the other person's idol or obsession.
Also, it annoys me when people insult other people's idols and act like they're not expecting hate back. Like, if someone said that they hate Mika, chances are that I am going to yell and rant. If you don't want to get hate, don't give hate. Simple. I don't get why people don't understand that. Most people are going to hate back when given hate, so why hate in the first place? It's mean and it just hurts people's feelings.
On Qfeast, I get quite a lot of hate for being a Mika fan. Haters have called Mika all sorts of things, but I stay being a fan. Even if I yell and rant because you hate on him, it's just because I'm a huge fan. People need to accept that and be a lot kinder.
