the tornado

survived!

Pain paralysed my whole body as blood oozed out through my crisp white t-shirt leaving a dark red stain. I was overcome with confusion and disbelief as I rewinded back to past hour. I had experienced a monstrous tornado and still survived!  I heard a loud siren but I was too tired to do anything. All I could feel was someone lifting me into an ambulance. All I cared about now was being in warmth of someone’s arms and being safe.  This was it, I had survived. just them the world went black.
