Firewake looked up when she heard someone sit on the cushion next to her, it was the SkyWing that walked into the library just seconds ago. FireWake hurriedly closed the scroll in front of her, she shoved the scroll into the bag that the blind NightWing gave her.  FireWake noticed that she didn’t have just red scales, some were blue.  She must have been a hybrid.
“What do you want hybrid,” said FireWake.
        “I’m Skylark,” she said nervously.
“I said what do you want hybrid,” said FireWake.
“Well,” Skylark said.  “I was wondering who you were. This school is about getting to know dragons. I decided that I want to get to know you.”
“Out of the many dragons, you chose me, why is it because I look different then the others,”
“No,” Skylark said quickly, obviously not wanting her to get the wrong idea.  “I chose you because you were the first one who wasn’t in a big group.  I am not fond of large groups.”
“That’s a new one, everybody who ‘wants’ to become my friend tries to kidnap me.”
“Um,” Skylark said.  “I don’t have intentions of kidnapping anyone, and why would dragons kidnap you?”
“Extremely deadly reasons,” mumbled FireWake, clutching the leaf pillow she was sitting on. Why won’t this hybrid just leave me alone, thought FireWake, waiting for her chance to lunge at Skylark.
“Well then,” Skylark said shakily.  “I’ll just leave.”
“Of course you're terrified, just cause I said deadly reasons, wimpy hybrid,” taunted FireWake, growling a little.
“Ok, I’ll leave you to yourself,” Skylark said, looking uncomfortable.  She faced the entrance.
“I didn’t say you had to leave, I’m just saying you’re being a wimp.”
“I wasn’t planning on getting a scroll anyway,” Skylark said, walking away.  “I just wanted to see what it looked like, and I’ve seen all I need to.”
FireWake stands up, she checks out the scroll and hurriedly grabs Skylark’s tail, pulling her back to be face to face with FireWake.  “Are you scared, or are you just paranoid,” FireWake taunted.
“What are you doing?” Skylark asked, looking more uncomfortable than before.  Some of her scales turned pale green.
“Nothing, I’ve never seen a hybrid like you before, or should I say mistake.”
“Let go,” Skylark said offended, pulling her tail out of FireWake’s talons.  She ran towards the entrance as fast as she could. FireWake flies in front of Skylark, landing on top of her, pinning her down.
FireWake Whispers, “I could easily kill you right here, right now. Do you really want your blood to be filled with poison, watching you suffer from the pain of poison reaching your heart every second.”
“What do you want from me?” Skylark asked, quivering.
“Nothing just wanted to see how you would react, plus I like to intimidate others so they don’t try and mess with me. My name is FireWake.” FireWake laughed, flying off of Skylark.
“FireWake,” Skylark muttered bitterly and ran out of the library.  FireWake followed Skylark, knowing that she wouldn’t know. Skylark walks back into her assigned sleeping cave, not noticing FireWake. FireWake looked inside, saw Skylark and her clawmates talking. FireWake walked in, “Hey Skylark, these must be your clawmates.”
“What are you doing here?” Skylark asked, frightened.
“Just wanted to see my new friend,” Said FireWake, dragging her talons across the stone floor.
“Friend?” Skylark asked in disbelief.  “After what you did in the library.”
“I didn’t do anything in the library, you just ran off just because people kidnap for some dangerous reasons.”
“B-but y-you pinned me to the ground,” she stuttered, looking at her puzzled clawmates.
“When, I wouldn’t do such a thing to a fragile hybrid,” FireWake lied.
“W-what?” Skylark said, gesturing for FireWake to follow her into the hallway. FireWake goes outside of the sleeping cave, waiting for Skylark to come out.
“What are you trying to do?” Skylark asked, slowly walking out of the sleeping cave.
“I’m not trying anything, they clearly don’t know who I am, and neither do you.” Said FireWake, trying hard to not laugh.
“Who are you then?” Skylark asked.
“I’m FireWake, the daughter of Burn and Flame. My mother was one of the princesses who started the war and was ‘killed’ by a snake,” taunted FireWake, grabbing Skylarks right wing.
“B-but Burn never had dragonets,” Skylark said, glancing at her wing in terror, but trying and failing to make her voice less scared. “And I only know of one dragon named Flame.  He is a healer in the Sky Kingdom.  I was told that he wasn’t married or a father.”
“Everything that you were told was a lie, he actually abandoned me when my mother started fighting in miniature battles.” FireWake slightly dug her talons in Skylark's wing, a little bit of blood coming out and staining her talons a little more. Skylark gave a small whimper of pain, trying not to be loud.
“You know, it’s really fun to see people in pain, definitely when they're on the verge of death. Now, why don’t you let me in and get to know your clawmates. It’ll be very interesting if you pretended to be my friend to, just to top it off.” Firewake grinned and let go of Skylark's wing. Skylark hurried to pull her body away from Firewake, barely able to speak because of how frightened she was.
“W-why would I want to do t-that? You w-would probably hurt them l-like you h-hurt me.” Skylark whimpered.
“Well, unless you want me to do it… The harder way, then-”
“Please no, I-I’ll pretend to be y-your f-friend, just don’t h-hurt the others.”
Firewake smirked, and walked into the cave with Skylark. She sat down below Skylark’s ledge, while Skylark swiftly jumped up onto her stone ledge. A SandWing looked at Firewake, “Who is this Skylark? Is this a new friend that you made in the library.”
“This is Firewake, I did meet her in the library. She was sitting all alone, I wanted to become friends with her since she wasn’t in a group.” Skylark replies, she gives off a fake smile and turns her scales pale pink to make herself look happy.  “This is Cactus, Firewake.”

It reached into the end of the day, everybody had to go into their assigned sleeping caves. The next day, something very strange and unexpected happened.
