meeting

I  looked at the clock oh my god it is 9:5. i am 5 minutes late.Then i looked at Julia she was looking at me as if i was an experiment. i said "julia stop looking at me like that we are 5 minutes late" julia's expression changed but i don't know into wat then she said"u are late and u made me late doesn't matter i told peter to lag the meeting so don't worry come let us go"
I have always been into following rules but now i am not so sure wat i should do. julia was driving the car so fast that i had to keep my bag from flying!then suddenly she stopped and when i looked outside this was not my office.I looked at Julia.She was pale."no this can't be happening"I said.She said"yes this is""OH NO!ok action time. i am gonna make a run for it while u get the car to the mechanic  I will do the first speech  and make it as LONG as possible ok?are we cool?"she said " yes"
I never felt that the office was so far.Running with high heels plus pencil pin skirt was so hard.I reached the office and i was sure the security was stunned to see me in such a manner. I am sure my hair which I pinned at the back was loose.My blouse is wet from my sweat.All in all my outfit was not "cool" . I ran into my room not even wishing my colleagues who wished me good morning. I called Peter checked in the mirror how "bad" i was and i was not that bad i expected it to be. Then Peter came into my room  and exclaimed"mam are u alright?miss julia said that u were not fine"miss julia? why is he calling her miss. peter and julia was having a "secret" date(it is no longer secret) for the past 5 moths. i am not pretty sure if they are keeping the boundary or not. anyway i said"do me a favour find the person who gave me alcohol yesterday and FIRE HIM!!!!!!!"

Oh my god!where was julia. my speech was over so was Mr.Strathmore's. According to the plan Julia's speech should be first and mine last.I was looking outside the whole time. where was she? then Mr.strathmore signed me to come. i went near him he whispered in my ear "where is julia?""she will be hear in few minutes don't worry"i replied. "how can i not worry? the meeting is getting delayed do something we can't end it without julia's speech. trust me if julia is not here both of u will be fired"oh no! wat am i supposed to do? i am not the problem solving one. julia is. i am the problem making one!"i don't think so that will be needed no worries" i said.

"Ok everyone i want some of the newly appointed to say why did u join this company"?I didn't hear wat they said or who all came.Suddenly Peter pinched me He signed that everyone said.Now there is only one thing to do -CONFESS!"Today Julia....umm Julia will""be here." i turned as i saw Julia!"Sorry everyone"I have never been so happy to see her!

The meeting was a big success. Mr.Strathmore said that both of us would have gotten promotion with this speech but the delay cause by our or my clumsiness cancelled our tickets of promotion.I don't know why i spoil everything.Julia smiled at me that meant "that's fine"
This day was hectic giving the new ones instruction,introducing them to everyone. As the day ended i was happy then Marcus my coworker came up to me. He was working in the distribution section while i was in the editing section.julia was in the article section.All of us had the same amount of power yet i barely saw marcus. Marcus came upto me and smiled and said "nice speech" "which speech" i responded."the one u said at the meeting today"

"so how is the new ones in ur section"

"i don't know did not give them any hectic gave them to assist how  are urs?"

marcus took a deep breath and asked " can i ask u something?"
