tips for making a new oc

Making this cuz I haven't made any stories in like a year or 2, read this if your making a new oc I guess, also the art isn't mine I was adding random images, full credits to the original artists

like every other oc, you should add some backstory! It can be anything, they can have massive amounts of trauma or just have none and have a happy life

Though, if you do add some extreme stuff in their backstory and plan to share it, I recommend putting a warning since nowadays people will try to "cancel" you if there's no warnings. (you could make your oc have a single cut in the past and people would be pissed at you because there's no warning)

Your oc can be an evil scientist, a serial killer, a teacher, literally anything
