Chapter 8.

Gone

The house felt like it was on fire, and the stench was really killing me now. I felt so irritated I opened my eyes, and screamed incredibly loudly. There were flames surrounding me everywhere. I could hear fire engines just arriving and I knew I wasn't going to make it, pulling out next door. I fell on the floor, feeling incredibly dizzy as flames surrounded the couch, until it burst into fire and burnt my foot. I screamed in pain, and tried to catch my breathe. I scrambled towards the door, but felt the hotness reach my face, and therefor I didn't see another thing since then.

Mike

6 am came at last, and I smiled as I walked to my car, feeling quite happy I get to see Jeremy again. He's the sweetest little thing. I drove down the street, smelling as light burn and realised it was coming from my house, I pulled over next door and ran towards a parked Fire Engine that was just leaving,

"Hey! What's going on!?" I screamed, an ambulance parked and hauling in a young boy. "Oh god Jeremy!" I cried out to the limp boy, unconscious obviously.

"He didn't make it." Someone sighed, and tears welled in my eyes. I looked at the burnt house, staring at the bedroom that once used to be kept together. There was something still hanging from the burnt dresser, a green jumper covered in ashes. I felt even more sad as I ran towards the ash covered jumper and held it up to my face. It survived, this jumper did but bit Jeremy. I was crying... Hard. And a few friends of mine, Vincent, Scoot and Frits even came to cheer me up. Vincent pulled around the corner and ran up tome with Scott.

"So sorry buddy, I'm sure he was a good guy." I sobbed as Scott patted my back, I shook him off and sat down on a burnt chair.

"He was the best," I cried  showing them the jumper. "All I really loved." I buried my face into the green cloth, crying until no tears came out. How could reality do this to me?

-le time skip-

"Dude, that's your sixth beer." Frits started at me concerned. I shrugged angrily at him and snorted while grabbing another beer from the fride.

"I don't care." I snapped, gulping down a whole mouthful, and watching Scott and Vincent come in from Make Out time.
"How's Make Out time." I teased, watching them roll their eyes at me. I'm happy they let me stay back at their place though. Until mine was finished being built.

"Very funny." Vincent growled frind wise and tried to snatch the bottle away from me, which I pulled away and kicked him in the stomach.

"Nu uh. You ain't having any." I took another gulp, swinging it down onto the bench and scaring Frits a little.
"Jeremy is gone, you don't under stand, I can't get him back. I just need to forget."
