The Demise of The Sun

Alex and her men and hiked through forests for an hour and got view of the castle. The lights were off but Alex could see the outlining of soldiers guarding the entrances. Alex motioned for the men to follow her to the side of the castle and they snuck up on the four soldiers that were sitting there playing cards and slit their throats. Alex crouched down and crawled into a large bush and opened a trap door that led into the kitchen. She whisper shouted for her men to follow her and they jumped down the trap door alongside her.
Alex frowned as she remembered sneaking through the trap door and tunnel to get into the kitchen. She always had to do this when Skylar had baked a dessert so she could steal a little. Alex shook off the feeling and led her men through the dark tunnel up into the kitchen. Luckily no one was inside it. Alex knew that Skylar had probably let all the other soldiers sleep and the rest were outside. "She's so fruking stupid", Alex thought as her men quietly went up a back staircase, "South practically killed herself." Alex stopped halfway down the hallway of the third floor as she smelled something metallic.
She opened the door and saw the outline of a body on the ground. She sniffed the air harder and her eyes opened wide. "This bitch killed Neverland!", Alex thought shocked. Alex was more determined than ever to get Skylar to pay. She knew Skylar would be in her room with her dumbass self and she quietly snuck inside of her room. To Alex's shock Skylar was sitting in the middle of the room holding a lantern. "It's about time you came.", Skylar said rolling her eyes. Alex scowled at Skylar and held her sword threateningly at her. Skylar laughed, "What're ya gonna do? Kill me?", Skylar asked brushing her blond hair out of her face as her red eyes narrowed, "I know for a fact YOU don't have the guts to." At this Alex groaned loudly and lunged at Skylar shoving the knife through her heart.
Skylar's eyes widened and she sputtered out blood and fell over on the ground. Alex heard soldiers in surrounding guest rooms move to get up and she took this as her cue to leave. As her men shot the soldiers emerging from the rooms Alex climbed out Skylar's window and down the vines along the side of the castle. She was smirking as she looked at her former friend's dead body.
