Skylar finally reached the edge of the forest right by the castle about twenty feet away. She motioned towards her snipers to climb up the trees and she grabbed a sniper rifle and hoisted herself up the tree. *Let's hope those lessons from Finland paid off* Skylar thought as she positioned herself in the branches so that she had a clear view of her enemies but they didn't have a clear view of her. The rest of the snipers positioned themselves precisely in the surrounding trees while Neverland and the rest of the ground force prepared on the ground. Skylar saw Alex emerge from the castle while looking through the binoculars that were previously dangling around her neck. She saw she was talking very angrily to a concerned Prussia. Skylar rolled her eyes and put down the binoculars she then proceeded to position her rifle so that it was aimed right for Alex's head.
She smirked as she pulled the trigger marking the start of the first battle. Her expression turned sour when she saw Prussia react extremely quick and pushing Alex out of the way. "How the hell did he know that was coming!?", Skylar whisper shouted. Guns from the surrounding trees were now firing off and Alex retreated back into the castle with Prussia probably to get a gun.
Skylar emotionlessly shot about five ground soldiers in the head instantly killing them. Other snipers around her were doing the same and the rest of them were taking out Alex's snipers on the roof of the castle. Neverland was currently ruthlessly bashing people's skulls in on the battlefield. He was effortlessly dodging blows and delivering them right back. Skylar was making sure no snipers shot him because as far as she was concerned Neverland was her key to winning this war and she'd be damned if she lost a fighter like him. Alex was busy in the castle delivering orders to her military, she was better at strategy instead of shooting. Strategy was what Sweden and Denmark had taught her instead of being taught shooting by Finland.
