Ocean Bound (Sequel to Ocean Blue)

Saved again.

I found myself staying at the beach wondering to myself. I often found myself singing. No one seemed to hear me. One day I walked on the shore to see my brother surfing. He seemed more serious. I'd heard things like he'd got scouted which made me smile. His eyes met mine and he ran towards me, I ran into the sea and disappeared. Thing's grew quiet for a while till one day I saw something that made me sick to my stomach. I'd been watching St Helier for a while when I saw a small ferry. 'Mermaid Catchers' was written on it's side. I swam away scarred. I swam into a cave on the other side of the island but it seemed I could never be alone. I was crying to myself in the cave when I heard footsteps.
"Hello anyone in here!" A voice called. I back into a corner of the cave. 4 boys and 2 girls came in. I recognised them from school. The tallest boy with brown hair spotted me.
"What the Hell........is that.........that is!" He said catching the attention of the overs.
"Sweet a mermaid!" One laughed. I recognised him, one of my brothers friends we lived with, Tim. I must have looked different because he could see it was me. I felt a hand on my tail and itched away.
" Ron your scaring it!" The tall one said to the boy touching my tail. A flash went of and I turned to see one of the girls with a camera.
"Grab it quick!" The taller one said as I tried to dive away. He put his arms around me and lifted me up. I screamed.
"Let me go!" I yelped.
"Wait! Marley is that you!" Tim exclaimed. Tear ran down my cheeks. Tim came up to me and wiped away my tears.
"My god Marley. Shh it's ok we wont tell!" He said trying to calm me.
"Your kidding right! We'll be famous!" The one called Ron said. They began to argue over me and my fear doubled.
"Do you see Marlinia? Your cold and scared and all they do is fight over the profit from capturing you! Let me help you?" An angelic voice said. It was the merboy. He came in and glared at the boys and girls. He grabbed the camera and it exploded into blue light. The girl screamed.
"What the hell!" Ron said. The tall one dropped me onto the rocks. The merboy in a flash knocked them all out. He clicked his fingers and light appear over their heads.
"They wont remember a thing!" He said as he sat next to me. I smiled as he wiped my tears away.
"I'm Tye, I take it your Marlinia."
"Lets get out of here!" He dived into the water transforming into the merboy with the grey and blue dolphin tail. I followed. We swam side by side and for the first time in 6 months I felt happier. We swam to a ocean bead of sea plants and lay down and stared at the sun .
"You stick with me and you'll be ok!" He smiled. I nodded feeling truly safe.
