Cato Love Story

Training

     Cato knocked on my door and I answered it it was our last day of training before we found out who was going to the 73rd Annual Hunger Games. We went in the training center and got on our training clothes. We still had 2 minutes to spare so we got our weapons and just talked.
     When my dad came out he told us to put our weapons away. I never thought I would hear him say that. He told us we were going to work on our medical skills. He said we needed to be ready in case we were chosen tomorrow. Cato did not pay attention because he said he was going to win the Hunger Games and not get injured. I did though.
     After training we went to go get something to eat. I got a salad and he got some sort of meat. Later we went to his house Cato was trying on clothes and I was judging the outfits he put together. I did not like most of them but I still enjoyed it.
     "You know. What if we both get chosen for the Hunger Games tomorrow. What's going to happen to us of it comes down to the two of us?"
     "Cato, I would not let that happen."
     "Why?" Cato asked
     "You're my best friend."
      He stared at his shoes. He had a kind of faint smile.
     "Hey! Good luck. You know if you go tomorrow." I told him.
     "You too." Cato said.
