Regretting The Chances

This is a story I have on the app Watt.pad, and I decided to post it onto this too. One question, though... Why is Watt.pad a forbidden word? Is it because it's another website? But wait! Twitter is not blocked! Facebook isn't either! Ah well. Here is my story, I hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 3.

Chapter 3 Boys

"Hey Ashley, come over here!" The boy, who's name was Cameron, beckoned me over. I ran over to him. "Meet one of my BFFs, Cody." I studied him. He was sorta cute, I had to admit. But I was already planning on dating someone. I smiled politely, and talked to him while Lizzie went off with Cam.
"So, umm... You live near here?" Cody asked, scratching his ear awkwardly.
"Yeah. Well, I did. Not anymore. Hey, I've gotta go... See ya later?" I waved and ran over to Lizzie. "Lizzie I'm going to Anthony's, so I'll see you later, okay?"
"To Anthony's? By yourself?"
"Well... No...." I said awkwardly. "You'll come with me..."
"Hell no. Me and Cameron are having a GREAT time, right, Cam?" She threw a glance over her shoulder to him.
"Yeah. Course babe." He flashed a smile.
"Fine. I guess I'll just have to go to another friend then." I said, and turned on my heel and left the house. I'd go to the one person I trusted, the one person I told everything. We had been friends since middle school, when she had been new, and really.... Crazy. She still was, but I loved her. I walked down the street to her house. Would she come with me? Me and Anthony had dated in middle school. Maybe if I told him my feelings he would ask me out again. I giggled, remembering when she had dated that midget, Aidan. They had been a funny couple. Maybe she could hook up with him, and we could all go on double dates together. Just like the old days. I missed AJ. We had been really close, but then she had been taken away to a crappy foster home with a bunch of assholes. She had stopped swearing, stopped dating and had completely changed. She had worn skirts almost every day, and her hair was really short. But then she had told them off, and moved in with me. She was probably still at home. I was nearing my house, and I checked my phone for the time. 4:00 am. She should be asleep... Then the door opened. I dove behind the trash can and heard AJ's voice.
"Come on, Mom, I'm only going to take a walk! Why are you so freakin protective!?"
"I just... I don't know. Be careful, okay?"
"Yeah yeah. Where's Ashley, anyways." I smiled. We had always had a close relationship.
"Uhm... Probably with Lizzie. Now, have fun on your walk and be careful!!!"
"Okay!" She waved and groaned when the door shut. I wasn't surprised when I heard her start talking to herself. She did it a lot, so I listened in to see what she was going to say. "Wtf! I know that Ashley isn't at Lizzie's! I heard mom kick her out. But where would I go if I were Ashley? Hmmm..... Probably over to Lizzie's. Anyways, if she's kicked out, then so am I! So there. All over. The end. I'll find her and live with her forever!" AJ nodded, a grim, determined face settling on her usually happy, cheerful face.
I let her walk by me, then silently followed her a ways. When we were far enough away from the house for me to relax, I called over to her. "AJ!" She answered without even turning. "Ashley!?" Then she turned, a smile splitting across her face.
"Holy shit thank god your safe! I was sooooooo worried where the hell were you?" She cried out.
"I was at Lizzie's, calm down. Anyways, I have a question for you."
"Okay, what?" She asked, puzzled.
"Will you go to Anthony's with me? I want him to ask me out."
"Omg hell yes! I will do that... If you let me talk to Aidan."
"Fine. Let's go."
