Chapter 4.

Let's do this

After what felt like years but in reality was ten weeks of healing and recovery, the Zoroark was finally released from the ER of the pokemon center, Skylar and Kesh grew close during the time he spent recovering from a broken leg. As they were leaving the pokemon center Kesh was working up the courage to ask to join her team.

"So Kesh, what are you gonna do now? Since your home was collapsed and you don't look like you got really any friends." Skylar said starting a conversation as they walked into the woods. "I'm not sure, I mean you're right i don't have any friends except you." Kesh replied sounding sad. "Well, you know if you want to you can always join my team." She offered.

The Zoroark thought for a moment wondering if she really was a much better human than the one that took his mother away when he was just a Zorua. "Okay, I wanna Join your team, but there will be some rules. First, After you catch me, you let me out and don't put me back into that ball unless i'm unconscious, dying, or just wanna be left alone. Second, I'm at the head of your party but you don't make me fight unless i want to. Got it?" He demanded and asked.

Skylar laughed and stopped walking and Kesh stopped walking aswell. "Alright you got a deal." she said smiling.
