Monghaos first time seeing a fight

Seraphina POV

I knew Vanessa was going to challenge me as soon as I stepped off the stage. I saw it in her eyes as she silently watched me and Jimin.
As I stepped off I watched her stay still as the guys finished. Everyone clapped before they said I would sing one more song. I walked on smiling looking at where Juno and the others where they look amazed. I started to sing Everybody Talks by Neon Trees as I watched the crowd start dancing. Its really fun singing this song for me because I can slightly dance while doing it.
As the lyrics flowed through me I saw Juno singing along with the group and dancing together with the others and I started to smile.

"It started with a whisper and that is when I kissed her" I sang the song coming to a close

"Everybody talks yeah" I sang the song closing out and cheering started to come out from the crowd. I walked back down the stairs as the guys put their stuff away Vanessa stalked towards me. See if you challenge someone at a party everyone will clear out into bleachers while the two contestants change into the appropriate wear for beating each other up. You and your opponent are placed in the big circle arena and at the start of ten seconds you can go at each other as hard as your can.
Its almost like war but with less people and usually less weapons. Everyone at the school has a ring and that ring can also aloe you to challenge someone. You tap the inside star and say the name of the person and any and every sound will go quiet as "Person1 has challenged Person2". And as soon as I stepped away from jimin

"VANESSA HAS CHALLENGED SERAPHINA PLEASE REPORT TO YOUR RESPECTIVE AREAS AND ALL STUDENTS PREPARE" blared the intercom. I smiled as I walked towards entrance two for the person the other challenged. People parted around me as I took off my heels while walking and I walked straight into the dressing room. I changed out of my dress and took off any accessories I had on while i kept my hair up. I pulled the skin tight black long sleeved shirt that went past the top of my thighs over my body and then put on the black leggings. I slipped on the purple shoes and picked up the weapons that where placed out. Two blunt long daggers, a staff, and two fans that had blades on the edges. I slipped the daggers on the seath on my back while I put the staff on top and the fans connected to my cuffs so they can close and not get in my way.

I walked out before Vanessa people starring at me as I walked into the transformed arena. It was a agility type course that was only used if the person was confident in their agility skills and not in the others. I spotted Juno,Jun,Minghao and everyone else starring at me through the protective glass for these kinds of things. We aren't a normal school here. You either have amazing physical abitly or mental or both. The reason we where sent here isn't because we aren't just gifted. We all had something happen to us that made us this way that we don't remember from are childhood. Or we were just born different. That's why we come from all over the world. The headmistress say only 4 out of 400 applicants are actually eligible to enter here. But we get so many people wanting to join each year every new class can hold up to 88 girls and 88 boys.

Vanessa walked out in the most flashy outfit I've seen in this. It was a gold shoes and shirt with a silver pair of leggings. Her hair put into a expensive looking gold,silver,and bronze hat. She seemed to cake more makeup on her face from before she challenged me.

"You may begins on my count" said the arena master. His now dyed blue hair seemingly sticking out in various places like he was hit with lightning.

The count down started and I started to calm myself and let myself only focus on the course and beating Vanessa

"Go" is all I heard before I lunged towards Vanessa holding the dagger in my hands and her with the staff. We clashed as she flew back a few feet from the impact. I ran up half the course with Vanessa close behind me. Oddly I stopped on the floor where Juno and everyone was. I decided to stay on the large flower shaped platfor

"I found you" said Vanessa slinging the daggers at me. I quickly took out the staff and started to defend myself

Minghao POV

We watched as Sera fought Vanessa. Sera twirling along with the staff. Vanessa's daggers flew put of her hand as sera blocked them with the staff and then hit her hand with her foot. Vanessa tried flinging out the fans but sera struck her down with the staff and used the daggers to pin her down. She held a dagger to Vanessa's throat as she used the other to use as defense if Vanessa tried to get up. A blue light flashed, then purple, then red, then the lights turned into what they wherein the dance

"SERAPHINA HAS WON. PLEASE CONTINUE THE DANCE" blared the intercom

"So Minghao how did you like your first fight?" asked Samuel

"I couldn't even detect some of the staff movements. It was kind of scary. How is Sera so good at this" I said. Jun,Juno and everyone started laughing

"She's definitely now kind of like a god of death, and art." said Joshua in between laughing and trying not to wheeze.

"We better head down back to the party. She will be out soon" said Juno. We all nodded as we walked down the long stair case with many windows and art prices your couldn't see because it was dark. When we got back down the dance now changed into flashing lights and club music as Vanessa and jay left the dance and Sera was sitting at the table smiling.

"God is she always this happy" said wonwoo


"I think its only when she shows she's the best" said jeonghan. And we started laughing
