Chapter 2.

Narnia

There is a place I'm sure you know
Where, to arrive, through a wardrobe you go
Or perhaps by a train passing quickly by
Or a magic ring, through wind you fly
There are many ways to get there, you see
For this place is mysterious as it can be
Narnia is the name of that land
Where, in that place, you might cross a band
Of black dwarves, with their dangerous ways
You know, Narnia is similar to a maze
There are different possibilities at every turn
Lands and castles that will make your stomach churn
For example, the evil White Witch's castle
Where if you pass by, there'll be quite a hassle
Danger lies in every corner, every inch
Then you might feel something like a pinch
For Reepicheep, the noble mouse, is here
Now you have simply nothing to fear
That loyal and brave animal, he'll stand by your side
But now, you might say, you need a guide
Prince Caspian is the perfect man for that job
And also, might I add, he reduces his enemies to a blob
With these two friends and a loyal team
You'll be able to cross every stream
Now we move on to the good royals at last
Unfortunately, there are many who have long passed
But we'll talk about perhaps the most famous of them all today
Yes, the Pevensies, to them we'll stray
High King Peter the Magnificent, the eldest of the four
He was the one most skilled in war
High Queen Susan the gentle, true to her title
Would always provide help when it was vital
King Edmund the Just, a very smart man
When it came to battle, he always had a plan
And last, but certainly not least, the youngest of the four
The one who would participate the least in gore
Queen Lucy the Valiant was her name
Again, she was certainly the one who was most tame
But not all royalty can be good
Even thought they probably should
Queen Jadis is an example of that twist
Otherwise known as the White Witch
The White Witch was not a fair ruler at all
She would freeze every subject that came to call
But perhaps we judged her a bit too soon
You never know, to her troubles we might be immune
And last, when you're in need, the most famous king will be there
Aslan the lion, with his long mane billowing in the air
The all-great ruler of Narnia will send you home
But you'll never forget that place where you once roamed
