Taiga walked up to a red door and knocked loudly.

"Josh sends his regards." She says to the air, hearing the door unbolt.
"Columbian?"
"As promised. Now pay up."
The man scratched his chin, then shook his head.
"No way."
"But-"

The man slammed the door in her face, and she growled, the tip of her tail flicking in annoyance. She knocked again, harder this time.
"Hey, asshole! Open up!" She screamed, sighing.
It was no use...
She'd have to get Jackson on this jerk.
"Useless freaking...!" She mutters, kicking the door before walking away.

She was sick of this bullshit.
Sick of the drugs, the torment...

She bumps passed a boy with black hair, carrying a guitar.
"Watch it!" She snaps, snarling.
He just walks on, around the corner, and out of view...

Just as a black car came around said corner, the Windows rolled down, and time slowed to a near halt when she saw that it was her employer, her friend, with a gun in his hand.

And then the gunshots rang out...

She slipped in and out of consciencess, unable to help but think thaar this was her last day...
All those days, those moments, living in fear for her life, in fear of starvation...

'God...'she thought, the doctors going straight to work to make sure she lived, even though her chances were slim to none, 'Please...Don't let me die. I can change, I promise. Please... I don't want to go like this...'

She opens her eyes and coughs, hard, trying to stand.
"No, dont. You aren't strong enough yet."
Her vision was blurry, but that voice...
"You're gonna be ok. My mom and dad are the ones that helped you." The boy states as he stands and takes her hand. "I'm Sesa."

"But... why?" She asked, tears walking behind her eyes.
She felt light headed, and before he could answer, she made this solemn vow...
