The Close Collision

One afternoon on the 26th of May, 2025, me, my 49 bus mates and my bus driver, Jhonny, we were all driving down a road in Elimbah and it was relaxing as most kids were either playing on their laptops, listening to music, or talking to their friends, until a truck driver was speeding down the road at 90 instead of the speed limit which was 60, the bus driver swerved out of the way as the road was thin. I look up from my phone after the bus driver swerved and I was confused so I tapped the student in front of me named Raine on the shoulder and asked her what happened, Raine said "a truck was speeding at 90 instead of 60, if Jhonny didn't swerve out of the way, we would've collided with the truck and most likely die." I went speechless after Raine explained and I nodded before texting my scout friend Amaia and my old friends, Jackson and Cruz. Once the bus driver dropped me off at my bus stop, I wrote this story down in a notebook and I haven't forgotten it to this day.
