“Please?!?!” Nate begged, “I need a ride! I can’t necessarily drive yet!”“Have you even asked her? Pretty useless to have a ride if you can’t use it.” Aaron, Nate’s older cousin, was not too excited about leaving the house to drive someone somewhere, unless he benefited from it.
“Then what do you want? Tell me and I’ll do it. I just need a ride.” Obviously Nate really wanted this ride. Aaron wanted to have a little fun with this.
“You still haven’t answered my question. Did you ask her, or not? Simple.”
“Haha. uummm… y… no.” Nate replied, slightly embarrassed.
“Well,” Aaron almost felt sorry for his little cousin. “You need to ask her in the most special way possible. There’s probably dozens of boys lining up to ask her! What if she’s going to say yes to someone? Better do it before it’s too late.”
“Yeah! You’re right! I’m gonna ask her in a way that she’ll never forget!” Nate called over his shoulder as he ran off.
Aaron spoke to himself as soon as Nate was out of earshot. “Sure hope he doesn’t go overboard on this, or she’ll really never forget it.”
