Chapter 1.

One

"You are my sunshine...my only sunshine.." Stephanie sang quietly with a raspy voice, walking into the dark and gloomy graveyard. She was clutching a bunch of yellow flowers in her hands. They were for someone special. "You make me happy...when skies are grey," Stephanie looked around the depressing surroundings, trying to search for the grave. Her black flats crushed the dried flowers and leaves beneath her feet, making a loud crunching sound.
"You never know dear...how much I love you," she continued, ignoring the crows squawking annoyingly in the background. Stephanie reached the grey tombstone and stared down at it, pain reflecting in her brown eyes. She bent down and slowly placed the yellow bunch of flowers on the grave. "Please don't take my sunshine away..." She closed her eyes, stood up and breathed heavily, curling her hands into fists. Stephanie then slowly opened her eyes and looked at the now colourful grave. "Please...don't take my sunshine..away.." Her voice cracked with pain as she sang the last note, but she didn't cry.
Written on the tombstone was:
Aaron Sam Hallson
19 October 2005 - 23 June 2013
'He was so young. He will be missed very much'

Aaron Hallson was her son.
