The Unexpected Movie Night
It was Friday evening, and Rahul was already excited.
After a long week of work, he had decided to invite a few close friends over for a movie night. He cleaned the living room, arranged the sofa, prepared some snacks, and ordered pizza. Everything was ready.
At around 8 PM, his friends started arriving.
“Tonight, no work, no stress—just movies,” Rahul said with a smile.
Everyone agreed.
They grabbed their snacks and settled comfortably on the sofa. Rahul picked a movie, turned on the television, and reached for the remote.
Nothing happened.
He pressed the power button again.
Still nothing.
“Maybe the batteries are dead,” one of his friends joked.
Rahul replaced the batteries, checked the power connection, and tried again. The television remained completely black.
The room became quiet for a moment.
“So… movie night cancelled?” one friend asked.
Rahul smiled.
“Not so fast.”
He suddenly remembered the projector sitting in his cupboard. He had bought it a few weeks earlier but had barely used it.
Rahul brought it out and placed it on a small table facing the empty wall.
“What are you doing?” his friend asked.
“Plan B.”
He connected the projector to his laptop, plugged it into the power supply, and adjusted the focus. Within a few minutes, the blank wall began to glow.
A huge picture appeared across the wall.
Everyone looked surprised.
“Okay, this is actually better than the TV,” one of his friends said.
Rahul dimmed the lights, connected the speakers, and started the movie.
The living room suddenly felt completely different.
The large screen, comfortable sofa, snacks, and soft lighting created the feeling of a private cinema.
Rahul leaned back and smiled.
What had started as a broken television problem had accidentally turned into a much better movie night.
And this was only the beginning.
