Brothers!
James wakes up the next day to the moonlight peeking through the side of his blood colored curtains! He gets ready for school and searches the house for his mom! He remembers that she said she'd be home later on today! He walks out of the house with the journal in his backpack! He walks up to the forest and asks “anyone is going to try to kill me today?” . . . no response!He walks into the forest and up to the note tree! He hears a noise behind him and says “hello! I can hear you!” he turns around and he is pushed up against the tree with a knife up to his throat! He looks up to see a black haired boy with blue eyes. . .no eyelids and. . .and. . .A cut smile! The boy says “Go To SLEEP!” James smiles and says “so. . .you're Jeff the killer? Right? I have been talking to your brother!” his eyes widen and he asks “Liu?” he hears a voice from behind him say “Jeff!”
Jeff releases his grasp on James who faintly sees his school bus pass the forest through the trees! James starts to have a faint panic attack! he turns back around to see Jeff and Liu hugging! James pulls out his journal and a pencil then begins to jot down notes on the two brothers! Jeff lets go of his brother and spots James taking notes! Jeff takes the journal out of James’s hands and James says “hey devuelve eso!” Liu asks “you speak spanish?”
James looks at the green eyed boy and says “only when i’m mad! My dad was hispanic!” James looks back at Jeff and asks “can I have my journal back now?” Jeff hands the journal back to James and asks “if they keep attacking you here. . .why do you keep coming back?” James says “i’m curious!” James jots down a couple more notes and without looking up from his journal says “I want to see where you guys keep coming from!” James scribbles down a picture of Jeff on the page! James shows Jeff the page and asks “is this good?”
Jeff reads over the picture and information on the page then says “you forgot the catchphrase!” James looks back at the notes and then writes down “GO TO SLEEP!” in big bold black letters! Jeff grabs the journal again and James yells “JEFF! Devolverlo!” Jeff hands James the journal back almost as if he understands! James asks “¿Me entiendes?” Jeff nods his head and James says “cool!” Liu asks “what?” James says “I asked if he could understand me and he said he could!”
Liu and Jeff look at each other and James says “well I have to head home! My mom might not be back for a while so you guys can come over for a little if you want!” Jeff says “i’m down!” and Liu just nods his head! They all walk back to James’s house and James shows the other two boys into his bedroom! They all sit down and James asks “what happened with you two?” Liu looks at Jeff with a hint of fear in his eyes...end of chapter eight
