Hidden Away

2. Its not locked

By the time it reached darkness we were watching old re-runs of Hannah Montana and eating the last of the pringles that Tia had in her kitchen. "You know, I'm not meant to eat them." Tia had said half an hour ago when I raided her snack cupboard. "You're not eating them," I had said whilst opening the lid, "I am."

Tia suddenly jumps up and claps her hands together. "Okai, if this is going to be a sleepover we need to sleep!" She exclaims and reaches for the remote. "...It's only 8pm?" I say and grab the remote before she turns the TV off. She raises her eyebrows at me and sits back on the sofa. "You're not allowed to leave this room until its 11:31!" I declare. "B-but that's later than my bed time!" Tia cries out. "So what? Doctor ain't here, is he?" I say and smile happily.

"Can I atleast go upstairs to get my jumper? Its freezing!" Tia asks after a while. "No! I'll get it, I know where  you keep everything." I say and march up the creaky stairs. I reach Tia's white door with her name decorated on the front and loads of stickers. I peek inside and turn on the light- the purple room I remember lights up and I see everything, her petite mattress with a simple white sheet over it and her wooden wardrobe. "I wonder why she's never decorated this place..." I whisper as I open her wardrobe. I scan it, dresses, dresses, tops... jumper! I tug it off the coat hanger and then wander out the room, turning off the light on the way out.

I look across the hall and see something different, Doctor's door is open. Its not locked. Its ALWAYS locked. But its not locked. Whats in there? Its not locked. Its wrong to look through peoples stuff. This is Doctor. His room is always locked. Its not locked.
