The End of an era
Amaze was running through the network terminal of the prison at high speeds trying to find the cellcell block to try free the prisoners but he's knocked into a a wall by a massive robot and he then gets up and keeps running.The robot pursues him but quickly loses him and Amaze hears Luna through the comms. "Amaze, we've found the cell blocks and are extracting all prisoners now, we need you to clear us a way out and fast." Luna said. "alright just let me know when everyone is clear of the blast radius and i'll start the countdown and make my way out." he replies. Amaze makes it to the control room and plug in a flash drive and begins to overide the systems.
As soon as the systems begin to shut down a sentry gun comes out of the ceiling and Amaze hears it load and start firing and he quick steps to the side and dashes under it as it continues to fire and he jumps and midair backflip kicks it and sends it flying at the controls and it blows up and he lands on his hands and kips forward to he feet and he looks at the controls to see they’re destroyed. “Oh no.” He says. “Stark, the prison is evacuated how’s the meltdown coming along?” Luna asks through the comms.
Amaze is silent for a moment as he realizes what he has to do. “I’m afraid... i’m Afraid I won’t be joining you.” He responds. “What do you mean?” Luna asks concerned. “The controls are destroyed, there’s now way to trigger a meltdown with enough time to leave, but I can still create an explosion if I damage the core myself.” He says as he finds a remote explosive gun and picks it up.
“We need you alive stay low and we can come to you.” Luna says sounding as if she’s about to cry. “Luna I’m surrounded and there isn’t enough time.” Amaze says sounding like his mind is already made up. Amaze reaches the core and shoots the explosive device on to the core and he sighs and he stares at the device.
“Luna, when you die you better be d*mn sure you leave someone behind who can carry on without you because I know I am... this is Amaze Vulpes Stark, signing off.” He says with a slight smile. “WAIT NO!” Luna yells just as he turns off his comms and removes them causing his ear to bleed.
Amaze hears the evacuation ship take off and leave and robots start to surround him and the ask for his final words. “Well... i’ll say I guess I’ll be seeing you soon Mom.” He says looking up smiling. “What the heck is that!?” A robot yells seeing the bomb on the core and Amaze smirks and pulls the trigger and the bomb goes off and in a bright light the reactor detonated.
