Happy Father's Day(humanstuck)
Karkat was sound asleep in bed, Terezi on the other hand was up still figuring out a way to break the news to him. She sat in the bathroom tears stained her cheeks and she looked as if she were going to cry again. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, "How am I going to tell Karkat? We aren't even married." She whispered to herself in a panic mode. She put a hand on her stomach and and walked out of the bathroom, when she stepped out of the room Karkat wasn't in there. She heard the handle squeak and she figured he must have gotten some water. She got into the bed and it started again, she was crying. Tears fell on her legs and made small puddles, the creaked open, it was Karkat. He heard her crying and quickly ran over to her, "Terezi, what's wrong?" He asked in the most calming voice he could possibly manage, Terezi looked at him and tried to wipe her tears away, "N-Nothing I-Important...I'll tell you tomorrow." Terezi insisted, "So why are you crying?" Karkat asked, "Oh am I? I didn't even notice." She joked, Karkat growled, "Don't lie to me!" Terezi stopped crying and put a hand on his shoulder, "Karkat, please...just go back to sleep." Karkat sighed and got into his side of the bed, Terezi turned on her side and whimpered, Karkat couldn't take seeing her like this, he pulled Terezi close, at first she was tense but she then relaxed and snuggled into him, she still had uneven breathing, he buried his face in her neck and smiled against it, "I love you Terezi, no matter what, and more than anything." Karkat snuggled deeper into her neck and she smiled softly, "I love you too Karkles, always and forever." She said sniffles still in her voice, "I know." He whispered back, and with that Karkat was asleep.
The next morning Terezi was up making breakfast for Karkat, she figured by the time she was done he'd be wake. The breakfast consisted of bacon, eggs, pancakes, and orange juice. She slid the pancakes on his plates and poured the orange juice in his favorite cup and sat down, she sighed and thought how was she supposed to break this kind of news to him? She sighed and that's when Karkat came in, "Happy Father's Day sweetheart." She said before pecking him on the lips, he smiled "Thanks Terezi, how long did it take for you to make all this?" Karkat eyed the food, Terezi smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, "That doesn't matter, you just enjoy yourself." She released her grip and sat down, she had a walk planned for later and she was pretty relieved that he didn't remember the situation from last night. "Thanks for the breakfast Terezi." He said before putting his plate in the sink and drinking his juice, "I'm going back to bed." He started to walk back, "No you're not, we have plans. You need to wash and get dressed." Terezi scooted him in their room and followed in after, she picked out a jeans and jacket, she saw Karkats clothes and ironed them for him and set them back on the bed. Since she had already washed took her toothbrush and brushed her teeth until they were glowing and sparkling. When Karkat got out if the shower Terezi was already ready and she had already packed the picnic basket. "So that's what we're doing I see." He said while putting on his shoes, "Yep, a nice picnic." Terezi stood up with the basket in arms. "Fine by me, let's go." He stepped outside and Terezi followed him, "So, Terezi, what was wrong?" Terezi stopped walking, "What do you mean?" Karkat turned to look at Terezi, "You know what I mean, I'm talking about last night, why were you crying?" She looked at the ground and bit her lip, she mumbled. "What?" She mumbled again. "Terezi you'd better speak up." She sighed "I'm pregnant." Karkats eyes lit up with joy and he smiled widely. "What? Really?" Terezi, who shocked by his reaction nodded, Karkat picked her up and spun her around, "Yes! I'm going to be a dad! This is wonderful!" Terezi laughed and smiled, "We're not even married yet I love you this much!" Karkat suddenly stopped, "Speaking of which," He pulled a black box out of his pocket, Terezi froze with her hands over her mouth, "Terezi Pyrope, will you be my wife?" Karkat smiled kindly and Terezi had tears in her eyes she tackled Karkat in hug, "Yes! Oh my gosh yes!" She said she placed many kisses on him, Karkat laughed and pecked her lips, "I'm going to call Vriska! I'm telling her I'm getting married!" Terezi ran inside and nearly smashed the phone just to dial her number, "Hey Vriska! Guess what? You owe me fifty dollars! I got married before you!" Terezi slammed the phone down and squealed. She fell into Karkats lap squealing, "I'm glad you're happy Terezi. But please calm down." Terezi smiled and sighed, "I know but everything is great right now." She sighed dreamily and closed her eyes, suddenly her eyes burst open, "The finances. How will we pay for everything?" Now Karkat wished she would go back to being happy instead of stressed, "Terezi calm down, everything will be fine." He said stroking her hair, she groaned and sighed, "No, we need to find a way to pay for everything. "I know, I understand. Just let me handle it." Terezi sighed and smiled at Karkat, "I will. But if you need help please just tell me." Karkat leaned over and kissed his fiancé. Terezi sat up and kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck and his hands going to her waist, Karkat smiled in the kiss, making Terezi smile and eventually laugh. "What's so funny?" Terezi kept laughing, "Give me a straight answer Pyrope." She wiped a tear from her eye, "I-I-It's just you smiled!" She fell off of Karkats lap and fell onto the floor, Karkat rolled his eyes and stood up, "Well I'm going to bed, come when you can." Terezi stood up and nearly fell back down, but Karkats arms were quick enough and he quickly supported her before the outcome, "K-Karkat...my back." Karkat carefully put her in his arms carrying her bridal style, "Do you know what might be wrong?" Terezi winced at first but adjusted slowly, "It's a symptom." Karkat sighed, "Any others I should know about?" Terezi thought for a moments as Karkat set her in the bed, "I'll look it up tomorrow." Karkat got on his side of the bed and looked at Terezi, she seemed as if she was nearly asleep, so he kissed her forehead and cut off his lamp. "Good night Terezi, sweet dreams."
When Karkat woke up he was the only one in the bed, how did Terezi get out of his grasp? Oh well, he heard noises coming from the bathroom, "Terezi?" Karkat walked into the bathroom, Terezi was on the floor, her face was pale and she was throwing up. "Are you okay?" She glared at Karkat, "Do I look okay?!" She retorted, Karkat was sorta shocked at her sudden anger, "Oh my gosh, I'm sorry I yelled at you! I understand if you hate me...you deserve better!" Terezi was suddenly crying, "Woah, it's okay...You just feel sick...uh did you get enough sleep last night?" Terezi stopped crying and glared at him, "There called mood swings you dumbass!" She said, she stormed out of the bathroom leaving behind a very confused Karkat. This would be a very long nine months
Month 1: "Karkat I will not eat these eggs! I hate eggs!" Terezi flipped over her plate, Karkat exhaled losing his patients, "Apologize." Terezi said with her arms folded to her chest, "Why do I need to apologize?" Terezi sighed, "Because you made shitty ass food." She calmly said, oh that's it. "Don't be ungrateful! You insensitive whiny ass! Gosh if you hate my food so much you can starve for all I care!" He finally let off some steam he had, he looked at Terezi, she looked heart broken and started crying. "Y-You yelled at me!" She cried, Karkat who was still agitated as shit went over to hug her.
Month 2:"I'm hungry!" Terezi yelled, "Well get something to eat." Karkat sighed, "I ate everything in the fridge already! I'm still hungry!" She added, Karkat sat up to see if this was true and she wasn't lying.. "Can you get me more food?" She asked, Karkat hung his head down. "Yes. Terezi."
Month 3:"Terezi! Where the heck are you?!" Karkat yelled "Find me you ass."
Month 4: "Karkat! I'm fat!" Terezi yelled. Karkat had gotten tired of her saying shit like this, he didn't understand why she thought so, Karkat wrapped his arms around Terezi's stomach, Terezi blushed and tried to wiggle out of grasp, Karkat rubbed her stomach and she blushed, "Karkat..." She said, "Shhh." He said, "I'm ugly. I'm fat, I understand if you don't want to be with me." Karkat sighed, "Terezi, I don't give a care about how you look, you're still my beautiful Terezi and I will always love you."
Month 5: Karkat hadn't gotten sleep in such a long time. Terezi ran in there room crying, "Terezi, what's wrong?" Karkat forgot about his sleepiness and went over to comfort her, "I'm going to be a bad mom." She said, Karkat went to comfort her and hugged her from the back, "I'm going to be a horrible dad, so we'll both fail as parents." Terezi laughed, "I love you Karkat." Karkat had fallen asleep on her.
Month 6: Twin girls. We're having twin girls. Yay.
Month 7: I finished the room for the little ones, Terezi was asleep in bed her she had tired herself out by going against Karkats will and cleaning the whole house, yes he was pissed. So he decided he would do something in secret as well. He made the room for the little ones and there was no turning back.
Month 8:It was almost over, Karkat held Terezi in his arms after she had her contraction, she was too sore to move and she had gotten comfortable in his arms and fallen asleep. Thank gosh it was almost over. He couldn't take anymore of this.
Month 9: Terezi held the kids in her arms, "How about this one Karina since she has your hair?" Terezi said, "Fine, this one is Tara since she's ugly, like you." Karkat joked, Terezi nudged him, "I'm kidding but she has your smile." Terezi smiled and kissed Karkat, "Thank gosh it's all over."
Father's Day (10 years later)
"C'mon! Tara! Let's go!" Karina was rushing her sister to give her dad her card. "I'm coming!" Tara rushed in looking messier than normal, "Dad! Wake up!" Tara yelled, Karina pushed her aside, "Wake the heck up dumbass!" Karina yelled, Karkat sat up quickly "What did you just say?" They smiled and giggled, "Happy Fathers Day!"
