The One They Called Frost

New Discoveries

It was about 3 years since Frost's birth, and now the children of the royal family were outside playing around in the fresh, new layer of snow.
"Frosty!" Calico said with an excited tone.
"Watch this!" Frost was just barely 2 years old, and the whole outside world was just a mystery to her, since she spent the first couple years of her life cooped up in a palace being taken care of by Aster and Winter; who were now in the throne room.
Calico snuck up behind Shard, who was concentrating on making his snow fort.
"Shh..." Calico made a motion, indicating for her to be quiet.
Frost just watched her brother as she was just messing around with a pile of snow.
Calico smirked mischievously as he poured snow down Shard's coat.
"Hey!" Shard yelped as his body tensed up by the snow's cold.
Calico cracked up laughing.
"Good one, if I do say so myself!" Shard growled at his brother, obviously thinking it wasn't funny.
Frost's ears perked up as she heard footsteps crunching into the snow.
Now, right in front of her were four polar bear cubs; Artic, Misty, Cocoa, and Snowy.
Frost started to cry, thinking they would be danger to them.
"Wah!" Frost cried, covering her face with her small, mittened hands.
"Don't cry, Frost! They're friendly!" Calico reassured his younger sister.
"Yeah, watch!" Shard said, as he extended his arms out towards Misty.
Frost watched, still crying as Misty ran into Shard's arms and snuggled into his chest, nipping onto his coat sleeve.
"Hey, easy girl..." he chuckled, with a smile.
Frost felt a sudden warmth on her head, seeing Snowy beside her, nuzzling her cheek.
Frost giggled and petted him.
"What did we tell you, Frost? Told ya they're friendly!" Calico said as he hugged Artic.
Maybe it wasn't so bad, they seemed friendly, might as well be friendly.
Few hours later, Aster and Winter came out to retrive their children, seeing them curled up amongst the polar bear cubs, asleep.
"Aw. How precious."
Aster said as he picked up the boys and Winter carried Frost in her arms.
"Come along my trio, let's get ourselves ready for the next day awaiting us". Winter said, with a smile as they walked into the palace.
