Purple Man

Many people believe that the Phone Guy is the Purple Man.
However, this may not be true.

If he were the purple man, Phone Guy would've had to die to become him, and the purple man is in the PREQUEL, not in the sequel (aka first game). And the Phone Guy died in the first game, not in the prequel.

However, the purple man wears a security badge, meaning he was once part of the night watch. And his hand looks like he's holding a phone...
This doesn't mean it's Phone Guy, it could have been a different night watch guy who spoke all the messages to Phone Guy when he signed up.
