Prequel or Sequel?
Loads of people have been wondering..Is FNaF 2 a prequel or a sequel?
It's a prequel! And I'll tell you why..
The paycheck you receive for beating Night 5 (and the whole game) if you check the date it says "1987".
This PROVES that this is a prequel! The first game is a sequel because it was base AFTER the bite! As the phone guy states..
"Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?"
Also, on the newspaper above, the outlined paragraphs, it says:
"The new animatronics will be scrapped due to possible malfunctions, however the original characters are being kept in hopes of a possible REORGANIZATION OF THE COMPANY.
It's a minor setback..we are confident that we will REOPEN SOMEDAY."
And they did! The reopened, and that is how the first game is a sequel and the second is a prequel. The original characters were kept for the 'sequel'.
