Certain Death [Book 2]

Chaper 3; Drowning

The moment the plane hit the water, screaming from the passengers where engulfed with water. Jake tried to help the passengers, but they refused when they realized that he wasn't wearing makeup, since it didn't wash away. Jake decided he had to help though, no matter what.

He grabbed one passenger -whom happened to be an elderly woman- and he unbuckled her from the seat. He pulled her out of her seat and down the water filling plane. Jake told the woman to put on the last life jacket and float out. The woman nodded and she opened the plane door. Water instantly filled the plane to the top, and the plane began to sink to the bottom.

Jake struggled against the current, and tried to get out. Then he realized he was caught in a loose seat belt around his leg. Jake swam down towards his legs and started to exhale. Jake lost a lot of his breath while he untangled himself.

Jake's fingers started going numb, and then his lungs started hurting. Jake needed air soon, or else--

Then Jake fainted..

Jake's memories flashed before his eyes, and then a bright light appeared.

He was slowly going towards it, although it looked like the sun from under the water.

Jake's mind started to race. Was he going to be okay?

Jake wanted to go closer, so he swam upwards toward the sun.

He reached his hand above the water and pulled himself up...

Then a large "Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" was heard...

"What'd I just do?" Jake asked himself in his mind.

"I killed you.." Umbrel's voice was heard.

"Why?" Jake's voice echoed through the dark place that he was now in.

"You where my killer.. You killed me... You said you'd get revenge on the person whom killed me.. You didn't know you killed me... I did though.. I had to kill you, and now we will be forever together.. Isn't that great?"

Jake started to cry..

"Jake, what's wrong?" Asked Umbrel.

"I want to go home.." Tears rolled down his face..

"I'm sorry, but it's too late Jake.. It's just... Too late..."
