The Beginning

Clearly this school excelled in sports. Not only did they have two football teams, but they had a dance team, a swimming team, a basketball team, a tennis team, and a baseball team. But the amount of students participating was even more astounding. Lance ran a hand through his dark hair and headed for the boys dorm. Once he arrived, he realized he was the last person there. He was introduced to an Indian guy with shoulder length hair, a guy who resembled Zac Efron, and a German guy with a guitar. He didn't know how to make himself more amiable, but the least he could do was get to know them.

I settled down on a bed, not surprised at all that I was the first one at the Girls dorm. I took out my phone and stared at my contacts. At the very, very bottom from 3 months ago, was a text from Lance. I hadn't replied, and I didn't plan on replying anytime soon. Lance was my past, and ever since he had chosen football over me, he had been taken out of my life forever. I didn't really care what Lance had to say, and I shut my phone off and gazed at the door, hoping that someone I could be friends with would walk through any minute now.
