Chapter 2.

The game

Sunlight poured through my window.
The chirping of the birds and laughter of children on their way to school filled my eardrums.
How disgusting.
The world is supposed to be a grim and bleak cruel reality filled with nothing but despair.
I slowly clambered out of bed,
My fiery red tangled hair sprawled  across my face in tough knots.
I got changed and took my time walking downstairs.
Mother of course hadn’t made breakfast.
Stupid old hag.
She never did anything.
Just... sat there. With this dumb look in her face.
I grabbed an apple and glared at her.
“Im going to school now mother.”
No answer.
Of course.
She was such a hopeless case.
I slammed the door behind me. Hoping she would be annoyed by my action.
Stupid mother.
I’d kill her all over again if I could.

I strutted past the popular kids cruel sneering faces, past the fake ‘pretty’ girls snarky comments, past the empty threats of the bullies.
I would Finally have MY fun.
I could finally put people through all the pain and torture I go through.
The world would feel my wrath.
I’d start off with a few people, the ones whom have REALLY wronged me,they’ll pay...
Oh I can’t wait.
My thoughts were interrupted when I spotted one of my contestants out of the corner of my eye.
Ah~
Penny waters...
Schools nerd.
Smart kid.
Ya get it.
A smirk spread across the corners of my face like the plague.
I quickly stashed a note In her pocket and whispered in her ear.
“Welcome to the games.”
