The Smart and the Dumb
After being introduced to the three smexy (not a misspell XD) hedgehogs, you shooed them out of the room so you could get dressed. You put your hair (or quills) in a ponytail and put on a simple T-Shirt that says "Swag" on it and some jeans. You didn't feel like bending over to put some shoes on, plus, who puts shoes on in the house?As you walked downstairs, you heard some voices. Being nosy, you eavesdropped.
"Is she awake yet?" One voice asked.
"Yeah. She seems nice." Another voice that sounded awfully similar to Shadow replied.
"She may seem nice at first, but she could be one of Eggman's robots or something." A third voice said.
You frowned. You've only been here for an hour and they're already getting suspicious! Good job [Name]- note the sarcasm.
You took a deep breath and walked downstairs. "H-Hey..." You stuttered. Crap...you stuttered.
Shadow stared at you along with two other familiar figures. They were none other than Sonic's best friends, Tails and Knuckles. You slowly and awkwardly went down the last few steps and ended up face to face with Knuckles.
"Um...I'm [Name]! You must be Knuckles." You said, trying to ease the tension. You brought up your hand for Knuckles to shake it. Knuckles looked at your hand and blushed slightly while shaking it. You giggled at him; oblivious to the glares the others were giving Knuckles. It was actually possible for Knuckles to blush redder than his fur!
"So," Tails cleared his throat. "I'm Tails. This is- as you know- Knuckles. I know this is pretty sudden but-..." Before Tails could finish his sentence, Shadow hit him over the head.
"What the heck Shadow!!" Tails yelled as he rubbed his head in pain. Shadow glared at him in response.
"Idiot...you can't just confess to her like that!" He mumbled.
Tails smirked. "Jealous?"
You swore you saw him blush. You SAW it! "Me? J-Jealous? Why would I be?" Shadow replied.
"Well even if you were, I wasn't gonna ask her out (yet). I was going to ask her some questions of how she got here in the first place." Tails explained.
You groaned. Answering long, drawn-out questions wasn't really your strong suit.
"What if she doesn't want to?" Knuckles popped in the conversation. Thank you Knuckles!
"She has no choice." Tails answered. You sighed but agreed with Tails. If you didn't answer any of his questions, you would remain here forever. You reluctantly followed Tails down to his lab; again, completely oblivious to the glares Tails was getting.
