Not All Robots Are Evil

You sat in a giant birds cage, waiting for further notice from Eggman. Currently, two robots had come in asking some questions here and there; what surprised you was that the robots here actually quite nice to you. They soothed you when you started to panic, they gave you a decent meal, they even played with you time to time!

'They do all this yet, they won't tell me how to get out...' You thought to yourself as you leaned against the cold bars of the cage.

You looked around the cold, dark, stone room and sighed to yourself. This wasn't anything you read in the fan-fictions, or seen in any of the shows. It actually reminded you of when Asuna got trapped in the "bird cage" in Sword Art Online (SAO).

You sighed again and suddenly heard the door open. Standing there, was one out of the two robots that visit you. He looked a lot like Shadow except the red would be replaced with yellow. He had a lightning bolt over and around his eye, his middle fingers on both his robotic hands had a lightning bolt on it as well, he had a yellow tongue instead of the normal pinkish-red tongue, and he had yellow eyes. If it wasn't for his hands, you honestly would have known he was a robot. And, to be honest, he was kinda cute.

"Hey Lightning." You said. Lightning came to visit you often so you remembered his name.

Lightning smiled at you. "Hello, Miss [Name]." He replied.

You watched as he opened the small window, causing the room to be about 1% brighter. You sighed heavily and sat back down in the cage.

"Is something wrong, Miss [Name]?" Lightning asked as he peered into your face from the outside of the cage.

You scoffed. "Other than the fact that I'm being held her against my will by Eggbutt, everything's peachy."

Lightning chuckled. "Your humor doesn't cease to make me laugh."

"Thanks, I try." You replied.

The two of you conversed like that for a while. None of you were talking about anything in particular; just about your hatred for Eggman and his hatred for working with Eggman.

"LIGHTNING YOU MORON!!! GET OUT OF THAT CELL AND HELP ME BUILD MY EVIL WEAPON!!" Eggman yelled from the control room.

Lightning mumbled some incoherent words under his breath and got up. "I'll see you soon, Miss [Na-]..."

"Call me [Name]. Miss makes me feel old." You stated with an amusing smile on your face.

"Alright then. See you soon, [Name]."

"LIGHTNING GET YOUR-..."

"HE'S COMING YOU OVER-SIZED DOCTOR!! SHUT THE HELL UP!!" You yelled.

Surprised at your sudden outburst, Lightning stared at you in shock.

"What? He asked for it." You mumbled as an excuse.

The black and yellow hedgehog shook his head and went towards the door to get to the his boss before he passed out from overexertion. Before he did so, however, he gave you a quick wink and disappeared, leaving a very embarrassed [Name] behind.
