Chapter 2.

Makeup

The man looked into the mirror at himself. Pride swelled in his chest as he looked at his handy work. He did it. He did what other men are afraid to do.
He's being himself.
Dark eyeliner ran over the edge of his eyelids, making his eyes seem an even more vibrant blue than usual. Light blue eye shadow hung above his eyes. A cheerful blush clung to his cheeks as he continued to apply the cosmetics.
For the first time in weeks, he felt happy. He felt proud of himself. He felt like he finally found who he is.
He sighed happily as he finished. The brunette examined his handiwork. Everything was shaky and hesitantly made. But it made him happy.
The male decided it was time to wipe the cosmetics off, seeing how horribly done it was. He wet a cloth, and wiped the makeup from his face. And as it went, so did the feeling of happiness. The feeling of joy and pride was thrown away as the substance was wiped off his face.
By the time he was done, all he felt was emptiness. The same emptiness he was now trying to fill with strawberry banana Sobe and starbursts.
