For a long time you really wish you had gone to McDonalds, your hair is dripping, your clothes are swollen and heavy and you can't see three metres in front of you. Even your shoes squelch every time you take a step. After a time, you realise that it is actually impossible for you to get any wetter. With this realisation come a kind of freedom. You abandon all attempts to stay dry and walk boldly in the middle of the footpath."I'm siiiiiiingin' in the rain! Just siiiiiiiiiiiingin' in the rain, what a glooooorious feeeeling, I'm haaaapy again."
A little giddy you finally arrive at school just as the rain starts to let up. You check your watch and realise that you're half an hour late.
