Finding out why she can't go outside

One day she decided to go up to her mom and ask “Hey mama,why can’t I show my real eye color to the other people?”
And her mom told her that if she did show someone her eyes their family’s reputation would be ruined.
Lexi was angry because her family cared more about their reputation than their own kid.
Her life was the same for 3 more years until one day her parents were going to throw a party.
Her mother told her that she had to stay in her room,unless she put her contacts in.
Lexi said that she would stay in her room but keep the eye contacts in just in case someone had to go up to check on her.
