Zidern

The Ooze

It was just another average day for the 15 year old Zidern Yindsaw, he walked down to Mr. Murakamis for some  noodles as he usually would everyday since he loved the way the noodles tasted, always satisfying with every chopstick full. He walked into the front door "Hey Mr. Murakami" he spoke in a soft tone "Oh hello Zidern" he said hearing him from the back "I'm here for my usual" he spoke "maybe you should try some pizza gyoza, its a new dish I made recently and you can have some as a sample" Zidern stopped and thought for a moment [pizza gyoza....?] Murakami then gave him a few for free "enjoy he said walking into the back" Zidern looked down at the strange food "hmmmm couldn't hurt to try something new" He picked one up with chopsticks and plopped it in his mouth. His eyes widened "wow! This is really good!!" He devoured the rest in a few minutes. Murakami smiled hearing the complement from a satisfied customer and friend. Zidern then walked out the door "see you later mr. Murakami" he gently closed the door and walked back to his house which was quite a while away from Mr. Murakami's.
~an hour later~
Zidern was walking home accompanied by his neighbor Carmens black cat whiskers who was about five years old and had grown the habit of following Zidern wherever he went as if he were his master. Zidern looked down at the cat and smiled since having a companion while walking back  during the night scared him a little when he was alone.
The sound of shattering glass and falling liquid was heard from above as he looked up only for his him to briefly see glass falling along with a glowing liquid as it splashed onto him "GAH WHAT THE HECK" He barked and quickly felt a burning sensation in his skin "A-AHHH" he screamed trying to clean off the liquid but it was too late as it had already seeped into his light toned skin "what is this!?" The burning continued as he looked down to see if whiskers was still there. The burning stopped and the cat was gone "oh no..... Carmen's gonna kill me!" He put a hand to his face only to yelp as his hand was now covered in black thin fur and missing one digit "What happened to me!?" He panicked and quickly dived into an alley before a car could drive by and see him "what will mom and dad think of me...." He looked at his reflection seeing a pair of yellow eyes looking back at him and a furry black cat like face
