Chapter 3.
The mum

The mum

Twinkle twinkle little star

In my entire life I have only ever feared for my life once, I can remember it clearly; dad was busy working so you had offered to take me to my ballet class I felt so happy to be able to share my hobby’s with you. On the car ride home you offered to teach me about the stars I had no idea where this offer had come from but said yes straight away after all you were and astrologer who better to learn off of. I remember you were very excited something about being able to see a certain star, you were driving well past the speed limit and although it frightened me I didn’t say anything. It was sudden the car came out of nowhere, but because you were going at such a high speed we couldn’t stop and we crashed. I promised myself that one day I would punish you for hurting me; for ruining my chance of ever being a ballet dancer it took 20 years for this opportunity.

I’m going to hit you with my car

It took a while to decide to kill you, I was never sure if you knew my secret or not. I guess I can figure out where I got my skills, when I did eventually choose to kill you it had been seven months since daddy’s death was ruled a murder I was certain that you knew. The tricky part was how to kill you originally I had chosen to poison you but that was too impersonal. When you found that stupid star chart was when I got the idea. You got me hit by a car so I would hit you with a car it was perfect

You can run but you can’t hide

Unfortunately for me you knew me a little too well and seemed to understand I was going to kill you so you ran; that was very naughty, you hide for two whole months before I found you and I have to give you a round of applaud you are smarter than your given credit for.

Run run run but you will die

This little game of cat and mouse continued for one week three days and forty three minutes and I was starting to get bored. I told you before I would get you so I don’t get why you were running, then again the fight or flight response often tries to lead you out of danger. I almost caught you once but you were a faster runner I yelled to you but I don’t think you heard me it was a warning in case you’re wondering “you can run but you can never hide”.

Twinkle twinkle little star, my car is here now so do not hide

I found you mummy it time for you to join daddy you put up a good fight, but all good things must come to an end I chose this night just for you, it’s an lunar eclipse I hope you get the joke. It time to say goodbye mummy I do hope you can forgive me but you knew too much.
