Prolouge
The wind whistled and howled in harmony with the pack. The wolves paws crunched over the ice. Pups whined for food and the eldest wolves panted and stumbled. Some tripped, fell, and didn't get back up again."Snap, the eldest and the pups will not last much longer if we do not rest!" Cried out Mulberrry, Snap the Chiefs mate.
He growled and said,"We must continue, we must find the haven." Mulberry stopped and thrust her muzzle in his face.
"You still believe those silly stories of a haven were wolves can live in peace, Snap?! Well, guess what?! It does not exist!" She spat.
"Mulberry. You have to believe! Its our only hope. I-I...." His voice drifted off to a whisper.
"You what?" She prompted.
"I need every single one of us to believe! I need every single pup, elder, and pack member to believe! I need you to help me, Mulberry. I cant do this alone." She sighed and nodded. Snap cleared his throat and shouted out to the pack, "Every pup, elder and pack member hear me speak!" He looked into each and everyone of their eyes and continued. "I, as leader, will do everything to protect my pack. I just need you to believe.................."
