Chapter one - Blur

Scott walked into the pizzaria and sighed, another night working as the night guard - but today we was going to be working with some new guard instead of Vincent, whom acted kinda creepy and weird in a way, he was probably on some sort of drug that made him act like that - Vincent had bags under his eyes, messy brunette hair that went to his shoulders and always wore purple no matter what which would be fine to Scott if Vincent didn't call himself the 'purple guy'.

Scott walked to the office where the new worker was already there, showing a wide smile that only a innocent child would have, the shorter male who was about 5'2 waved at Scott happily - who was this guy? Scott had never seen someone so happy, care-free and childish that was an adult near his age. Ebby was a overly happy, innocent and optimistic 23 year old who was excited for this job - the complete opposite of Scott on how he viewed work but for Scott work also had its ups (free pizza, making children happy and thats basically it).

"So...your the new guard right?" Scott asked in his usual awkward tone, and cleared his throat as Ebby replied "Yep! I'm Ebby!"

"Ebby is a interesting name, i'm Scott and I will be working along side you tonight." Scott replied, Ebby was an unusual name but then again at least the shorter male was nice and not evil.

Ebby had curly strawberry-blonde hair that went just above his shoulders, freckles on his face and arms, a scar on his left cheek and looked kinda skinny and had skin that looked pail and fragile; easy to break.
Scott sat down next to Ebby and looked at the cameras nervously, hoping that Ebby would genuinely be a nice and decent person unlike Vincent.

"So...where did you work at before?" Scott asked him and kept looking at the cameras, and Ebby responded with a cheerful tone "At retail! It was hard for me though because a lot of people didn't like how happy I am!"
"Thats sad, its good to be happy - this world is full of pain and depression so its nice to have someone like you once in a while." Scott spoke honestly, and smiled slightly as Ebby smiled some more "thank you sir!".

Maybe this wouldn't be such a bad change after all.
